UPPER EAST SIDE PIED-À-TERRE

Tucked away on the Upper East Side, this jewel-box pied-à-terre was designed to feel like a five-star hotel suite. Inspired by the client’s antique toile collection, we layered old-world charm with rich finishes, custom millwork, and a refined mix of antique and contemporary pieces for a space that feels both elegant and transportive.

(Completed while at Marshall Watson Interiors.)

Nestled in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, this jewel box apartment was reimagined using influence from the client’s antique toile collection. She requested an old-world vibe with a classic sensibility. As this client lives full time in the Hamptons, she wanted her NYC apartment to feel like a five-star hotel suite so her trips to NYC felt like vacations. Careful attention to millwork details, natural stone, and special wall finishes took precedence on the architectural side. While on the decoration front, we placed emphasis on a mix of classic and contemporary silhouettes, with heavy use of antique pieces to add a European sensibility.
